Trade Forex & CFDs with Versus Trade in Singapore
An offshore CFD broker on MetaTrader 5: $10 to open, leverage up to 1:2000, no MAS licence and no SGD account — here is what that means for a Singapore trader.
Open a Versus Trade account →Versus Trade is an offshore CFD broker: Versus Trade Ltd is registered in Saint Lucia (2024-00586) and licensed by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission under GB25204646. It holds no Capital Markets Services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, so a Singapore resident who opens an account here sits outside Singapore's retail framework: no MAS leverage cap, no local dispute route. The accounts start at $10 (Standard) or $100 (Pro and Raw Spread), run on MetaTrader 5 only, and are denominated in USD or MYR — there is no SGD account currency.

Versus Trade Singapore — quick verdict
Versus Trade is a 2024-vintage offshore broker with a Mauritius FSC licence and no MAS authorisation. The conditions are real and checkable — $10 entry, MT5, spreads from 0.0 pips on Raw Spread — and so is the trade-off: a USD balance, no Singapore payment rail, and none of the protections a MAS-licensed broker carries. This site is an independent guide, not the broker.

Versus Trade Ltd is a Saint Lucia company, registration number 2024-00586, licensed as an investment dealer by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission under licence GB25204646. Both facts are published on the broker's own regulation page and can be checked against the Mauritius register.
What the broker does not have is a Capital Markets Services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. In Singapore that licence is what allows a firm to deal in leveraged forex and CFDs with residents, and it carries the retail protections that come with it — leverage capped around 20:1 on major currency pairs, segregation rules supervised locally, and a local complaints route. None of that applies to an account opened here.
Versus Trade did not appear on the MAS Investor Alert List when the published list was checked on 11 September 2026. That is worth knowing, and it is not an endorsement: the list names firms that may be mistaken for licensed ones, and absence from it is not a licence. A firm’s Singapore licence status can be checked directly in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory.
The three accounts in numbers
Each account trades contract for difference instruments. Standard opens at $10 with spreads from 0.4 pips and no commission. Pro and Raw Spread both open at $100: Pro quotes from 0.2 pips with no commission, Raw Spread from 0.0 pips with a commission of up to $3.00 per side, per lot.
All three run on MetaTrader 5, take orders from 0.01 to 200 lots, use market execution, and share the same risk settings — margin call at 30% and stop out at 0%. Maximum leverage is stated as up to 1:2000, which is the headline number and also the reason a MAS-licensed broker could not offer you this account. What that leverage ties up in margin is worked through on the lot size and margin page.
How money gets in and out from Singapore
The account is held in USD or MYR. There is no SGD balance, so money leaving a Singapore bank is converted on the way in and converted back on the way out, and that conversion sits on top of whatever spread you pay to trade.
The broker's published funding menu lists local rails for Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia. It names no Singapore rail — no PayNow, no FAST. Which methods a Singapore-registered account actually sees is only visible inside the client area, so check there before you commit any money.
Money comes back the way it went in. The Withdrawal Policy returns card deposits to the card first, up to at least the total deposited that way; e-wallet withdrawals are processed once card refunds are complete; bank transfers only after that. Withdrawals to anyone else's account are forbidden. If a withdrawal stalls, the support page lists what to send with the first message.
Who this suits — and who should stop here
It suits a trader who already understands CFD risk, wants leverage and instruments a MAS-licensed broker cannot offer, and is willing to hold a USD balance with an offshore counterparty. If the account will sit idle between trades, the inactivity fee page covers what the documents do and do not charge for.
It does not suit anyone who needs the protection of a Singapore licence, wants to fund and withdraw in SGD through local rails, or is looking for a first account with a safety net. If that describes you, a MAS-licensed broker is the right place to look, and no amount of leverage changes that.
